Cherokee Nation Construction Services (CNCS) offers highly skilled, professional, technical and administrative support teams for government and commercial clients. CNCS helps manage construction projects through effective engineering, scheduling, safety and financial management controls. Wholly owned by the Cherokee Nation, CNCS is part of the Cherokee Nation Businesses family of companies.
At least 10 yrs of experience in construction, including experience in a leadership role as a Foreman, Assistant Superintendent/Assistant Construction Manager, etc.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Field Supervision of contractors
Hands on attitude that will require some field work
Coordination of inspections
Collecting and filling out daily reports
Knowledge in construction methods and materials with focus on concrete construction, steel construction and site layout
Communication with clients
Set an example on-site regarding safety policies and project specific policies
REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of 10years construction Supervisory experience
Experience in managing multiple projects concurrently
OSHA Safety training, a plus (10 or 30 hour)
Must possess a valid driver’s license
Reliable transportation
Comply with company Motor Vehicle Policy
Present professional image at all time
Self-Motivator and independent worker
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Computer skills (Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel) a MUST
