As a Web developer, you are an expert in using the dynamic programming tools and languages that fuel the Web. At times you will work independently but you will also be a part of a team that builds and integrates interactive Web sites, applications, and services for both internal and public sites. Your role is to make it work, which means developing Web applications and testing them on various browsers, enhancing and modifying them as necessary to ensure the best experience for the user. As a web developer, you might also architect websites, design data-driven applications, and find efficient client-server solutions. You must have an in-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle and be able to communicate project status, issues, and resolutions.

Required Skills and Characteristics:
Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), software development methodologies (e.g. agile, waterfall), software design, and test strategies
Analysis, design/development of multi-tiered applications using .NET platforms
Web Applications development based on Visual Basic (VB), C#, XML, SOAP, ASP .NET, or equivalents
Web Services development based on WCF, C# .NET, or equivalents
Strong proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint
Database development using Microsoft SQL Server or other (e.g. Oracle, Access)

Desired Skills and Experience
Experience with GIS application development using MS Silverlight, Adobe Flex, HTML5, REST
Familiarity with ESRI GIS software including ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Desktop and ArcSDE
Experience with an Enterprise Content Management system based on EMC Documentum, OnBase, or equivalent
User Interface (UI) development with embedded controls (TELERIK, AJAX, Infragistics, or equivalent)
SharePoint 2010 WebPart development
SQL Script programming in Stored Procedures and through utilities such as Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
Report development in Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS / preferred) or equivalent such as Crystal Reports

Other Details
Provide at least three current professional references
Provide sample work products to demonstrate writing skills and technical proficiency
