Job Description:
Sabre is currently seeking an experienced Software Development Network Engineer interested in working in a challenging, hands-on environment supporting the Department of Defense and other specialized customers in the Aberdeen, MD area. The position entails having knowledge and understanding of communications networks.

Duties include:
- Extensive software coding/programming in a Laboratory environment - Evaluation and analysis of software code written by outside vendors - Modification and adaptation of existing software algorithms - Assistance in laboratory demonstrations demonstration of new approaches and capabilities - Assessment of proposed solutions in a system of systems environment to include impact on network and application layer efficiencies - Assessment of Software Code Vulnerabilities - Ability to construct and deliver briefings to a wide range of audiences

Requirements:
Job Requires:
- Bachelor?s Degree and/or Advanced degree in Software/Computer Engineering or Computer Science or a related field - 5 - 10 years of relevant experience - Experience in developing software code and interface solutions that enable integration of off the shelf and emerging communications and security products developed by different 3rd party vendors - Knowledge of and interest in emerging wireless technologies and related security challenge - Good communication and briefing skills - Experience with mobile networking - Coding and programming experience to include C, C++, Java, Object Oriented code etc. - A proven track record in programming and developing supporting code - An interest and or experience in the Cyber Security Arena
Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret Clearance
