Engineer Work with a team, applying experience and creativity to build
out technology for the next generation of mobile robotic products focused
in the areas of telepresence, health, and commercial applications. Provide
technical input on overall design, development, defect investigation, integration,
documentation, and validation activities of software for a state-of-the-art
project, and may sometimes work with other contractors and at other locations.
Conduct requirements analysis, software design (high-level and detailed),
and implementation, peer review of code & documentation, and support for
software/system test.Generate artifacts in support of formal engineering
processes.Design and implement software for robot embedded systems.Translate
high level requirements into functional and detailed design specifications.Support
and advance software development processes, including formal engineering
processes.Skills Expert in C++ programming language, familiar
with templates and the BOOST libraries2+ years Python application and utility
developmentExcellent communication skills and ability to work in fast paced
environmentExperience developing real-time embedded microprocessor systemsSome
embedded Linux knowledgeSome robotics fundamentals, e.g. kinematics, dynamics
and sensingFamiliarity with any of the fol
