If you want to make a difference, apply for this job today!Robert Half International is seeking a Software Engineer III to analyze, design, and test local, network, or internet-related computer programs using the current programming languages and technologies adopted by Robert Half International. The Software Engineer will create requirements, design, configure, install, and maintain documentation according to company standards, and work with users and customers to research and resolve production issues for supported applications in a timely manner. This position will interface with users to define system requirements and / or necessary modifications and upgrades. The Software Engineer will incorporate standards to ensure the continuity of applications and maintain supported applications, including Intranet and Internet websites.

Requirements:
-BS Degree or equivalent experience in programming computer applications, software documentation utilities, and job control languages required
-3+ years previous software development experience required
-3+ years of experience in J2EE technology (EJB, JSP, Servlets, JMS, JDBC, XML / XSLT related technologies)
-Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) a major plus
-Minimum 6 months of experience with one of the following:
- JBoss (highly desired)
- BEA WebLogic
- Other Java Application Servers
-Experience with one of the following is a plus:
- Vignette Portal
- BEA WebLogic Portal
- Other Java Enterprise Portal
-Experience with JSR-168 Portlets a plus
-In depth knowledge of Java frameworks & tools (such as Spring and Hibernate), and strong de-bugging skills
-Experience in full life cycle of software development; requirements analysis, design, development, testing, implementation
-Experience in creating software architecture documents or other design artifacts
-Understanding of object-oriented analysis and design techniques
-Desire to work in team-oriented environment
-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
-Experience leading a small sized team
-Ability to code to written specifications
-Ability to follow company standards for documentation , GUI design, and programming
-Strong analytical skills for effective problem solving
-Ability to grasp issues quickly and make educated, critical judgment
