CORBU (Converged Optical Routing Business Unit) is looking to hire enthusiastic and talented junior Engineer to participate in development of software for the next generation Routing Architectures. This is an excellent opportunity and time to be part of CORBU as Core Routing is Cisco's #1 priority. You will be part of a fast paced team responsible for delivering quality code for large complex systems requirements. Responsibilities:
Participate on a project team of engineers involved in the development of software for our current and next generation routing platforms, with emphasis in routing/forwarding plane. Define, architect, design and deliver new software features and solutions for the CRS and it's next generation product families. Work also involves providing constant feedback to hardware and software teams for improvements, working with cross-functional team, providing technical consultation and leading the subsystem developments with minimal supervision, write complete functional and design specs independently, ability to initiate and consult on original and creative technical efforts.

Required Skills:
oExperience in C programming skills.
oUnderstanding of networking systems with knowledge of routing infrastructure or LAN/WAN protocols.
oStrong problem solving and software development/troubleshooting skills.
oPrior forwarding plane experience in distributed routing/switching platforms is plus
oRequires BSEE/CS or equivalent degree
