Ultra Electronics, ProLogic is currently seeking well qualified candidates for the position of Software Engineer within our ISR Solutions Group in Manassas, VA or Fairmont, WV . The candidate will support software design and development efforts for an ongoing project that requires full lifecycle support.

The candidate will function as a member of an integrated team of developers, systems engineers, and scientists focused on DoD special operations and intelligence community problems. The selected candidate will provide full lifecycle support, to include design and development for a mission planning and analysis application. The candidate must be comfortable working in a 6-10 person team environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate an aptitude for blending software with science while working on a GIS application. Experience with physics-based modeling for unattended ground sensors (UGS), small unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), and communications/RF systems highly desired, but not required.

Required Qualifications:

BS in computer sciences, or related engineering or software discipline
Minimum of 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
Experience with .NET and C#/C++ (a strong JAVA background will also be considered)
Familiarity with geospatial information systems (GIS) and related GEOINT products
Strong foundation and understanding of modular software design in general and object-oriented design (OOD) and object-oriented programming (OOP) principles in particular
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be a US Citizen.
Must be able to obtain Top Secret clearance with possibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance
Desired Qualifications

Experience working on DoD and/or Intelligence Community (IC) programs
Active Top Secret clearance
Direct experience with the following software libraries, packages, or technologies: GDAL, OSG, OpenGL, Matlab, Virtual Planet Builder, CruiseControl .NET, Subversion, AGI/STK, Web Services (XML, SOAP, RESTful services) relational databases, and agile development tools
Direct experience working in a real agile development environment
