JOB DESCRIPTION

B.S or M.S. in EE/CS 8+ years of experience in software development with specialization in process improvement using the Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI). Strong analytical and organization skills are required Knowledge of Model Based Engineering (w/UMLand Simulink methodologies) and Secure Development Lifecycles is strongly desired. Hands-on experience in software hardware or systems development is a strong plus.Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Experience in documenting processes and procedures (work instructions) is desired. Experience in developing and conducting presentations for all levels of management is desired. This Job Opening Requires the Ability to Obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.

The candidate will champion specific and company-wide directives to improve and standardize development of mission-critical software. Activities will include leading continuous process improvement of software development and defining policies and procedures supporting requirements analysis design implementation unit test and integration of mission critical software. The candidate will integrate new Model Based Engineering (MBE) and Secure Development Lifecycle (SDLC) standards and approaches into the standard processes. The candidate will also be expected to manage the generation of training material and lead training sessions for engineering staff.
