Position Title: Software Quality Assurance Analyst

offering, Chem & Bio Office, which includes Chem & Bio
Draw, is the de facto standard and primary communication
tool on the chemist's desktop. Chem & Bio Office
Enterprise, an enterprise implementation of Chem & Bio
Office desktop, enables research information
organizations to deploy application and information
solutions using Internet, intranet, and extranet
technologies.
Main functions:
Working closely with development teams during the design
and development of Informatics products by preparing
test plans, test data, and executing test activities to
improve the quality of the Informatics product suite.
Duties:

Implement and promote use of consistent, efficient and
quality processes to meet timelines and deliverables
according to specifications.
Ensure compliance of project QA organization with
company and customer QA policies, procedures and best
practices.
Create, maintain and assume accountability for a
culture of high customer service.
Write, update and execute test and validation scripts;
Record results; Summarize test execution metrics.
Plan, allocate and manage test execution activities
across project(s) and test teams .Time and resource
management
Employment Requirements:
Bachelor s or Master s Degree in Computer Science
At least 5 years of experience in software testing
Experience across entire project life cycles, with
focus on software testing & quality
Ability to write and execute test and validation
protocols, record and summarize results
Fundamental understanding of the entire software
development and release life cycle
Proficiency in testing both client/server and web
based applications/ systems
Nice to have experience with both manual and automated
testing and automated test environments
Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office
applications, and bug tracking systems
