As an IBM SOFTWARE REVENUE RECOGNITION ACCOUNTING ANALYST, you will play a unique and integral role as a 'trusted business advisor' in influencing key business decisions, supporting internal as well as external client facing operations and driving business results for the company's Software business in the North America geographical operating unit.
IBM Accounting has the responsibility to accurately record the company's financial performance using Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, IBM Accounting Practices and Local Statutory Principles.
Professionals working in this area perform complex operational and technical accounting activities and financial performance analysis and reporting as well as maintenance of accounting systems and applications.
In this role you will provide comprehensive and meaningful information and accounting guidance to dealmakers and others on customer transactions through interpretation of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, IBM Accounting Practices and Local Statutory Principles.

* Demonstrate written and oral communication skills.
