Position Summary
Adobe's solutions meet the needs of a diverse customer base that spans from consumer to enterprise. The Digital Marketing - WEM Business Unit enables online marketing agility to enable organizations to attract new audiences, deliver targeted, relevant content, and optimize site campaigns real-time for increased click-throughs, conversions, and revenue. By combining Adobe's content creation tools and ubiquitous clients with Adobe's Online Marketing Suite, Adobe is well positioned to deliver solutions that can transform the future of engaging experiences and ecommerce across all digital content, platforms and devices. For designers, developers, and online marketers, an integrated workflow - with optimization capabilities embedded in the creation tools - will streamline the creation and delivery of relevant content and applications. This optimization will enable advertisers and advertising agencies, publishers, and e-tailers to realize greater ROI from their digital media investments and improve their end users' experiences. The Solution Consultant is responsible for showing the customer how this solution will work in the real world, using real world demonstrations, which clearly articulate the context of these solutions in the customer's daily work stream. As part of this process they are responsible for the technical architecture, business value and describing contingencies the customer needs to consider. The Solutions Consultant will need all of the following skills and experience to be successful:
- In-depth knowledge on content management, web and social technologies.
- Understanding of web design and web development philosophies and processes.
- Experience operating web properties, including monetization concepts and strategies.
- Ability to write client-side and server-side code.
- Ability to listen to customer problems.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Working knowledge of client-side and server-side scripting technologies, including JavaScript.
- Solid understanding of website platforms such as PHP/.Net/Jsp.
- Solid understanding of ecommerce platforms such as: IBM Websphere/ATG/Fry/Demandware.
- Working knowledge of web content management systems like Interwoven Teamsite/Documentum/Sharepoint/Vingette/Clickability/Crown Peak.
- Ability to develop creative solutions to problems.
- Experience within Retail, Media and Entertainment, Finance, Insurance and/or healthcare verticals a plus.Responsibilities
- Work closely with Account Executive to define and create account strategies.
- Clearly and succinctly articulate the Adobe capabilities and technical value proposition.
- Manage customer product demonstrations and solution positioning.
- Collect, disseminate and respond to customer requirements.
- Develop trusted relationships with prospects.
- Simultaneously manage multiple sales engagements.
- Understand and solve complex functional and technical problems.
- Stay current on the product and be an expert on relevant technologies .
- Understand the competitive landscape and use that knowledge to address prospects concerns and objections. Requirements
- At least two years previous success in a technical pre-sales or consulting environment.
- Ability to travel up to 40%.
- Familiar and skilled with graphics programs to create presentations (i.e., Adobe Photoshop, Flash, Microsoft PowerPoint)
