Position Summary and Essential Duties
Under general supervision, designs, develops and implements quantitative analysis of complex business situations including performance, strategies and solutions relative to sales and customer performance. Uses computer modeling, database tools and/or other approaches in analysis. Develops recommendations for moderately complex sales/customer opportunities and internal processes. May present solutions to management.
Job Specific Information
The Sales Analytics and Reporting team is tasked with developing visualizations and reports that drive action in support of our global sales organizations. Analytics providing Territory, Customer and Revenue visibility are designed and maintained to assist our sales team achieve business plan. This position will assist in delivering a best in class business intelligence platform using various RDBMS and BI tools. The successful candidate should have analytical experience and be excited to develop innovative solutions.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Considered a Plus
* Understanding of business intelligence platforms and interactive analytics
* Strong knowledge of SQL and be proficient in quantitative/qualitative data analysis
* Ability to relate well with both technical and business users
* Ability to plan and work on multiple major, often highly visible assignments concurrently
* Strong business acumen and interpersonal relations
* Tech savvy professional with a strong willingness to learn new tools and stay on top of Business Intelligence industry trends
Relocation assistance is available for this position.
Bachelor s Degree/equivalency in business, finance, economic, computer science, engineering or related field. Minimum two (2) years work experience in measurement and analysis, quantitative business problem solving, operations analysis, sales or marketing analysis and/or knowledge management. Strong analytical skills. Proficient with current technology/ advances and database/analytical tools. Good interpersonal skills. Strong written and oral communication skills.
