Solutions & Partners is responsible for expanding the Nokia portfolio into the solution domain for both the service provider and enterprise markets. The solution domain is historically a high margin business as it leverages investment made across multi business while demanding a price premium from customers as solutions offer faster time to market due to the lower technical and business risk due to their pre-integrated nature.
A critical aspect to the success of the solution and partners charter is proper solution product management. The ability to survey a wide variety inputs, customers, market trends, technology trends, etc. and identify repeatable solution business opportunities that can leverage Nokia portfolio and generate superior financial returns. Currently the solutions and partners organization is understaffed relative to our committed plans, deliverables and investment in other areas. Failure to properly staff this critical function will result in reduced ability to meet stated goals and significant lost opportunity costs given investments made in other areas will not receive the necessary solution management guidance required.
Scale is a critical aspect at this point as we are starting to gain significant interest from CxO level at major service providers for the solutions in our pipeline.

Job Position Summary Description
As part of Nokias Solutions & Partners Solution Management team you will be an instrumental member responsible for orchestrating and guiding the profitable growth of Nokias solution portfolio built by leveraging Nokias rich product lines. This extends from increasing the profitability of existing solutions to developing new solution for the company. You will build solution from existing ideas concepts and help to develop new ideas based on your industry experience and your contact with customers and prospects. You will identify repeatable patterns and use cases that are not well addresses with by existing product lines project based market approach.
You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy, a balanced view between strategic vision and agile tactical execution, and the drive to make that vision a reality. You must have a passion for listening to customers to understand their problems, be inquisitive, be empathetic, willing to challenge status-quo, and find innovative solutions for the broader market.
You must be able to communicate with all areas of the company. You will work with an innovation and realization counterpart to define agile based product sprints and the use cases that drive requirements. You will work with solution architecture to best utilize product and solution strategic direction. You will work with marketing communications to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer. You will also serve as the internal and external evangelist for your solution offering, often working with the sales enablement, sales channel and key customers.
You must be capable of navigating the complex business structures, organizations, motivations, stack holders and personalities across multiple business units within AA and across different business groups including ION, and MN. You must be capable of clearly articulating Solutions & Partner business cases across these varied business units and business groups in order to gain alignment and support for solutions that are defined that leverage their components.
Key Responsibilities / Functions:
Managing the entire solution life cycle from strategic planning to tactical agile execution.
Specifying market requirements for current and future solution by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers.
Generate detailed business cases to insure proper investment priorities are made and maintained.
Decomposing use cases into customer epics and stories.
Driving a solution set across development teams (primarily Innovation/Realization, and Marketing Communications) through market requirements, product contract, and positioning.
Developing and implementing a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute.
Analyzing potential partner relationships for the product.
Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: (EDUCATION, TECHNICAL SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE)
* BS Technical Degree mandatory
* 10 years minimal experience in product management function
* 3 year minimal experience in solution management function
* Proven experience in developing targeted business cases based on clear market segmentation both geographic and vertical
* Proven experience in managing product and solution portfolios targeting enterprise customers
* Proven experience in managing product and solution portfolios targeting service provider customers.
* Proven experience in managing cloud service and orchestration portfolios
* Proven experience in customizing business cases to specific geographical target customers
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: (EDUCATION, TECHNICAL SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE)
* MS Technical Degree
* 15 years minimal experience in product management function
* 5 year minimal experience in solution management function
* Proven experience in customizing business cases to specific vertical market segments ideally, healthcare, government, finance and Insurance
