Prior to treatment, we offer each guest the chance to experience our heat and water facilities in order to sooth muscles and prepare the body for the therapeutic journey that lies ahead. Then, following a consultation with your therapist, your personalized treatment will begin. Afterwards, take time to relax by our 60-foot lap pool. OVERVIEW It is the mission and intent of this position that the incumbent will provide the highest level of customer focused service, to insure the guest experience is one that is beyond and expectations of the guest and aligned with our Legendary Quality Experiences. Spa Concierge is to provide personal assistance to any individual booking spa treatments, private training sessions and retail sales transactions. Spa Concierge will also assist with guest inquiries about the facility or treatments offered via telephone or in person. The Spa Concierge reports directly to the Spa Supervisor and directly communicates and services guests. Duties and Supporting Responsibilities Offer the highest level of personalized service while maintaining a gracious, enthusiastic, helpful and professional attitude with all guests and colleagues. Create special conversations with guests which identify personal preferences in order to record in each guest's profile history. Maintain a daily record (via Spa Soft software) of all guest requests, reservations and confirmations for guests. Communicate and describe in an articulate manner the spa offerings and their benefits. Ability to compare and contrast the different services on the menu. Recommend and up-sell services that fit the guests' needs. Possess professional telephone etiquette for booking appointments, handling guests' requests, and answering guests' inquiries. Proficient computer skills that will ensure reservations will be made in a timely, efficient and error free manner. Effectively handles cash, credit card, gift certificates and room charge transactions. Maintain an understanding of the spa industry and spa philosophy (balance, relaxation, unity, and a healthy lifestyle). Understand that as a representative of the Spa they will maintain a healthy, fit appearance and a positive attitude. Ability to use fax machine, copier and email. Maintain a clean, safe, stocked and well organized work area Maintain spa appearance and cleanliness Assist in all areas of the spa operation as directed by management. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Provide tours and describe the spa facility. Assist with inventory of products and supplies. Communicate and describe in an articulate manner the boutique products and their benefits. Ability to compare and contrast the different skin and body care products offered. Recommend and up-sell products that fit the guests' needs. Requirements Excellent, reading writing and oral proficiency in the English language Proficient with computer skills Previous customer service and telephone reservations required General accounting skills (for daily closing procedure) High school diploma or equivalent required Desirable Proficient in SpaSoft software program (ref. 48958)
