AEgis is seeking highly qualified Space Operations Research Analyst for support of multiple Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC) programs. Candidate will utilize and maintain an agent-based framework to quantify the effectiveness of various system designs, architecture and CONOPS. Candidate will develop and maintain small to large scale joint scenarios in a constructive environment to assess outcomes, evaluate plans for exercises, wargaming sessions, developmental and operational tests, demonstrations, and world-wide contingency operations using Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TT&Ps), across a broad spectrum of test and operational environments. Candidate is required to perform algorithm development, troubleshooting, GUI design, integration/compatibility with other software, and website design
Success Factors (Success factors are simply the results we want this person to deliver, in order for us to consider this person a successful hire):
30 days: Successfully in process accomplishing all security-related activities resulting in access to Government computer
60 days: Interaction with other team members to gain insight as to what key features and issues analysts have in using the agent-based framework.
90 days: Demonstration of ability to make necessary changes and adjustments to algorithms and software. Perform troubleshooting as required.
Candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor s degree (Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or OR) and 5 years experience with agent-based modeling, simulation, and analysis, preferably with the System Effectiveness Analysis Simulation (SEAS) tool. Candidate must have be a US citizen and able to obtain a Top Secret/SCI Clearance. Current SSBI highly desireable. Strong multi-tasking and time-management skills. Demonstrated ability to be part of a cohesive team and deliver the highest quality service. Can handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.
