AEgis is seeking highly qualified Space Test Engineer for support of multiple Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC) programs. As a Space Test expert, assist SMC programs in defining requirements across the entire program lifecycle, including: Satellite Development, Integration, Launch and Operations; Mission Planning and Design; Training, Scheduling, and Process development/Improvement; Information Assurance; Technical Assistance Agreements; and, Risk Management. Attends, and provides insightful assessment supporting client leadership in risk assessment and other Space Test program related meetings.
Success Factors (Success factors are simply the results we want this person to deliver, in order for us to consider this person a successful hire):
30 days: Candidate will successfully in process accomplishing all security-related activities.
60 days: Candidate will interact with the team and other teammates successfully supporting Space Test planning and execution functions.
90 days: Candidate will develop expertise in Space Test planning and execution.
Candidate will have a minimum of a Masters degree (Engineering or related discipline). Multiple positions are available and vary in years of experience required from 4 to 15 and in between. Candidate will have experience in the development & implementation of R&D multi-payload satellite and launch missions, assembly, integration, launch & operations, training and schedules, and information assurance. Candidate must be a US citizen and able to obtain a US Top Secret/SCI Clearance. Current SSBI highly desirable. Detail oriented with strong analytical skills; detailed knowledge of AF Space and Missiles Center (SMC) processes, organizations, and missions. Extremely organized. Strong multi-tasking and time-management skills. Demonstrated ability to be part of a cohesive team and deliver the highest quality service. Can handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.
