West also provides mission critical services, such as public safety and emergency communications.Responsible for providing interpretation in appropriate capacity for assigned clients; interact with clients and customers in a professional manner ensuring interpretation accuracy; ensure the confidentiality of sensitive customer information; identify cultural issues that prevent high quality customer service and escalate to appropriate group; ensure required documentation is kept and updated in a timely and accurate manner.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSApplicants for this job will be expected to meet the following minimum qualifications.Education* High school education or GED required* Interpretation certification or post secondary language study preferred* Must meet minimum age requirement for assignment/projectExperience* Minimum 1 year customer service experience required* Minimum 6 months interpretation experience required, preferably 1 year* Based on departmental need, minimum one year experience in the healthcare or financial industries may be preferredOther* Basic knowledge of Word and Excel preferred* Basic computer skills required* Score acceptably on job related testing assessments (e.g., HIPAA, etc.)`* Ability to clearly communicate using a clear, distinct voice* Ability to read and speak both in English and Spanish requiredIf you are interested in this position and meet the minimum requirements, apply online today!Applications will be accepted through 1/27/2012.WestEmployment.comAAP/EEO EmployerReturn to Previous Page
