Under direction of the Administrative Director of Imaging or designee, schedules coverage to coordinate patient flow for in-patients, outpatients and ED patients, while performing a variety of radiographic procedures in the Angio Suite. Assures images are available for physicians when completed. Assists with training and orientation of all new staff members. Follows department ALARA program.


A. Licensure/ Certification/ Registration: 1. ARRT
2. CRT
3. CPR
4. Fluoroscopy Permit
5. ARRT IR preferred

B. Education:
Certificate from AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.

C. Experience:
1. Three years as a Special Procedures Technologist.
2. One year of Emergency and/or Trauma experience.
3. Prefer one year experience in a leadership role.

D. Special Qualifications:
1. Knowledge of angiographic procedures and nursing in emergency care, medications and EKG.
2. Ability to monitor and operate radiographic and computer equipment.
3. Thorough knowledge of special procedures, patient care, and sterile technique.
4. Ability to motivate and direct staff and work harmoniously with all personnel and physicians.
