Specialist IS Bus Sys Analyst (warehouse/material management)

The Center of Excellence (COE) Business & Application Support organization is responsible for supporting the business processes & application software being implemented through Amgen's ERP Program. Business Analysts within this team must possess thorough knowledge of the processes within their area of specialization as well as a comprehensive underst&ing of the configuration associated with the specific SAP components that are used to enable these processes. The Specialist, IS Business System Analyst will be primarily responsible for providing business & application support of the production environment. The analysts will interact with members of the Client-Facing IS teams as well as with our Super Users & Business Partners. The analysts will also work directly with members of the COE's Technical & Infrastructure team to assist with the resolution of technical incidents as well as the implementation of new functionality. The Business Systems Analyst will serve as a liaison between our Business Partners & the COE in the development of new application functionality. In this role, the Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for performing the analysis & design associated with new requirements. The Business Systems Analyst will collaborate with the Development organization to create functional & technical specifications & complete the necessary testing & documentation associated with these changes. The analyst will also work closely with the Computer System Validation group to ensure that all enhancements are implemented in a quality manner. Limited travel (5-10%) both within & outside the US is expected.
