Open September 8th, 2016 through June 30th, 2017
Applications are being sought for the Specialist Series from B.S., M.S., Ph.D. or M.D. candidates with strong laboratory research backgrounds, publications, & specialized training for anticipated openings between Sept. 12, 2016 & June 30, 2017 in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, University of California, Irvine. Initial appointments are for one year & renewal is based on available support. Current faculty & research interests are:
J. Chan: Liver development/function, oxidative stress response, and cancer
L. de la Maza: Chlamydia trachomatis; immunopathology and vaccine development
R. Edwards: G-protein signaling in mucosal immunity
D. Mercola: Promoter binding and activation profiles of cancer
E. Monuki: Brain development
E. Peterson: Chlamydia trachomatis; immunopathology and pathogenicity
