Specialist Sys Analyst (Business Analyst)

Responsibility of the IS Business System Analyst involves partnering with major functional groups of the Colorado Manufacturing Site, to underst& & develop requirements & solutions which will enable success of the functional groups. This requires a professional, business-focus, thorough communications, & a service-oriented attitude. The Business Analyst (BA) will be responsible for establishing & demonstrating a thorough underst&ing of client business models, processes, & priorities. The BA must be able to use business process modeling tools to maximize business value of IS systems & services. The goal is to identify the right scalable solution, which may require business process re-engineering, procedural changes, system modifications, or new systems. This position will require attending &/or facilitating team meetings & discussions, catalyst sessions, or other forums to optimize business processes. Promotion of good lines of communication with business units, technical experts, & vendors will be necessary for success. This position is targeted to support the site Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Learning & Performance, & Environmental, Health & Safety departments. Responsibilities include acting as IS service manager & single point of contact for IS issues & escalation. The position will develop an underst&ing of client processes to increase business value of IS services & support IS projects for existing & new applications that are used within the client groups such as Change Control, Documentation, & Laboratory systems. Other clients may be identified based on c&idate experience & capabilities. As a global IS partner, the Business Analyst will function as a conduit of information between targeted client groups & This position will be part the Service Management team within the Information Services Service Management Governance function, & will be responsible for providing administration, application & development maintenance support for the Integrated Service Management tool (ISM) This position will be an Administrator for Service-Now Application & will work as a member of the support team to configure & maintain the ITIL process in the tool. This position will provide technical assistance, workflow development, & software configuration/customization. This may include but not limited to: custom reports, data imports, LDAP integration, custom scripting & third party software integrations. Responsible for the design & development of ITIL tool. Develops design & functional specifications, produces deliverables related to changes or enhancements with the tool. Responsible for Java Scripting & Configuration of tool. May be responsible for gathering, compiling & synthesizing information with regard to technology processes or systems. Includes documenting requirements, design, & producing & executing positive & negative test scripts.
