Responsible for providing direct spiritual care to the hospice patient/ family members in accordance with the plan of care developed by the Interdisciplinary Team. Ensures that the spiritual services provided assist with self-determined life closure/ safe and comfortable dying/ and effective grieving in compliance with hospice standards. Works under general supervision.

Licensure: Valid driver's license may be required, as determined by operational/regional needs.

Education: Bachelor s Degree in Humanities or other related fields required. Master s Degree in Divinity or Theology preferred. One unit of Clinical Pastoral Education preferred.

Experience: One year experience in a hospital or hospice pastoral care program preferred. Effective oral and interpersonal communication skills required. Proficiency in personal computer operations including MS Office applications required. Bilingual skills may be required, as determined by operational needs.
