*Assist with the implementation of life experience study platform upgrade to PolySystem’s Measure.
*Perform life experience studies including mortality, surrender/lapses, expenses, etc.
*Enhance, develop, and maintain documentation for experience study reports and procedures.
*Prepare and submit data calls for regulatory and industry purposes including VM-51 (Kansas Insurance Department), LIMRA, SOA, and others.
*Update and maintain experience study related extracts, reports and external tables in PolySystems.
*Assist in the quarterly financial close by preparing mortality and persistency analysis, Closed Block PDO calculation, etc. Provide related audit support.
*Assist with various on-going and ad-hoc projects supporting Valuation and Product Design, such as block of business reviews, data analysis, etc.
*Support valuation analysts with other projects such as PBR and GAAP.

*Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, finance, economics, or related field
*3+ Society of Actuaries exams preferred, but not required
*3+ years of experience in individual life insurance and/or annuities
*Strong analytical and technical skills including programming experience and experience working with databases
*Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
*Effective time management and multi-tasking skills
*Level of position can be higher or lower depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
