Sr Associate Scientist, Molecular Biology - 76

Qualified candidate should have Master's degree with 5 plus year of experience or a Ph.D degree with 2 plus years of experience in scientific discipline such as Molecular Biology (preferred), Biology or Cell Biology in industry (preferred) or an academic laboratory, or equivalent. The individual should possess technical knowledge and demonstrate analytical abilities, competence in the evaluation of new techniques and procedures for operations systems, proficiency in experimental design and excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently. Job duties include but are not limited to:

- Critically analyze data and interpret results of experiments.

- Provide day to day technical support to the operations team.

- May build and maintain technical databases, archives and department procedures.

- Demonstrate good technical support for specialized assays and problem solve in areas of expertise.

- Coordinate activities associated with the lab. Work to relevant regulatory practices i.e. GMP / GLP.

- Ensure events and CAPAS are processed in the correct timeframe to maintain OTD.

- Actively participates in internal and external lab inspections as required.

- Demonstrate consistently good communication and interpersonal skills with employees, management and clients.

- Use and maintain scientific equipment and instrumentation, computer systems; ensure that they are fit for purpose and kept in a validated state.

- Lead by example as an active participant in the lab; provide hands-on support and supervise lab work when required.

- Prepare technical reports, summaries, protocols and quantitative analyses.

- Manage the development, design, justification and implementation of process improvement opportunities.

- Keep manager informed of study status, technical and other issues which impact the lab.

- May perform other related duties as required and / or assigned.
