Qualifications: Auditing seeks industrious and dedicated individuals who consistently demonstrate a strong work ethic and high level of integrity to join the Customer Operations and Finance sections of Auditing. Experience and familiarity with company policies, procedures, systems or business processes or relevant audit experience. Evaluates operations, controls, or systems for effectiveness: develops or follows audit procedures. May train others in audit related functions. Encourages self-appraisal via formal and informal means and participates in continuing professional development. Ability to deal with conflicts in a reasoned, persuasive manner. Recognizes the need for escalation to management for issue resolution and support. Well-developed communication skills, both written and verbal, and applies them in practice. Presents information and successfully conveys a point of view in a professional manner. Demonstrates commitment to accepting new challenges and takes an active role in developing personally and professionally. Demonstrates excellent listening skills and is open-minded to ideas. Consistently proactive and demonstrates actions towards achieving the team objectives. Recognizes and understands the impact of diverse work styles and behaviors. Senior Auditor(2L)-Candidates will conduct audits and small projects concurrently and may lead audits. Candidates must possess a Bachelor s degree with 3 years relevant work experience. Degree in Accounting, Engineering, Finance, Science or Business Administration preferred. May possess one or more of professional certifications: CIA CFE, CPA, CISA, CPEA, BECA, ASP, CSP or equivalent certification. CPA highly desirable. Project Auditor (2H)-Candidates will conduct/lead audits and may supervise large audits. Candidates must possess a Bachelor s degree with 5 years relevant work experience. Degree in Accounting, Engineering, Finance, Science or Business Administration preferred. May possess one or more of professional certifications: CIA CFE, CPA, CISA, CPEA, BECA, ASP, CSP or equivalent certification. CPA highly desirable.

Previous utility audit and accounting experience is preferred. Professional and/or technical certifications are also preferred. Candidates must be comfortable with technology and be able to demonstrate high levels of proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Oracle, and/or ACL. Candidates will be expected to be able to understand procedures, work practice and other materials that will be reviewed during the course of conducting their responsibilities. Experience with analytical tools preferred.

Responsibilities: Schedules and participates/leads audit kick-off, mid audit status, and closing meeting. Ensures that work papers are complete, supporting documentation is cross-referenced to record of work done, requires minimal edits, and is entered into the electronic workpapers in a timely manner as the audit progresses. Accurately conducts analytical reviews and interpret review results. Developed skills in a functional area/section within Auditing. Develops a Risk Control Matrix and prioritizes efforts in accordance with risks and audit objectives as outlined in the Audit Manual. Identifies key controls and develops an appropriate testing strategy to address those controls. Applies appropriate sampling techniques and accurately interprets test results. Uses computer assisted audit tools and techniques on audits. Prepares clear, concise, and accurate audit reports that require minimal editing for finalization. May assist in the review of a draft report that is prepared by another auditor. Ensures that workpapers adequately support the observations, conclusions, and recommendations and are consistently maintained in accordance with requirements in the IIA Standards. Performs follow-up audits to determine that management has timely implemented all recommendations. Identifies and recommends cost saving opportunities during internal audits. Completes training to ensure the ability to participate in assigned audits and complies with all company training requirements when conducting field audits, reviews and/or inspections. Contributes towards team results, works well with others, and encourages other team members. Demonstrates and promotes professionalism in all activities. Adhere to both the content and spirit of the IIA, Company, and other applicable Standards. Performs high quality audits timely, efficiently, and accordance with project milestone in support of Auditing s vision and KPI s. Support Company initiatives. May present to Senior Management. Supports Auditing mission and goals through participation in Company event and activities to build events, develop internal and external relationships. Mentors new team members. Performs other related assignments as required. Represents the Auditing Department on Company project teams.

Candidate must possess a valid driver s license Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory as need. Must be able to participate in the company emergency management processes and storms plans as required.
