Overview:

The primary purpose of the Senior Construction Project Coordinator position is to represent Capital Planning and Management on projects providing project coordination expertise. Under general direction, provides project communication management, document management and the development of project reports. Assist with the coordination and implementation of construction projects. Assures compliance with, and adheres to current institutional and industry standards.

Key Functions

Project Communication Management - Under general direction and guidance, manage project information through its distribution, tracking and timely response from the stakeholders that ensures contract compliance.
Project Document Management - Under general direction and guidance, preserves project information for use, retrieval by the project stakeholders and the archiving of project information to create the project history.
Project Reporting - Under general direction and guidance, supports the generation of accurate and up-to-date information of the project status to ensure that it is informative and allows for a productive discussion process to occur.
Job Description-Requirements:

Education

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management or related field.
Experience

Required:
Five years of construction management, construction supervision or construction field experience. Additional years of experience may be substituted for the required degree on a one for one basis.

Preferred:

Design and Construction experience with a focus in healthcare, academic, and/or research facilities.
