JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY Role Purpose
Requires 5 years contracts administration experience in government contracts/sub-contracts. Must possess a working knowledge of FAR and other DOD contractor regulations.
Requires a 4-year degree in business, law or other related fields, or equivalent. Qualifications / Experience / Skills
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under limited supervision, responsible for all official interfaces between the company and customers regarding purchase orders, quotations, and negotiations; coordinates interfaces with customer on quality, design, engineering and production and securing profitable business that establishes niches for the company.
Participates in negotiations, gathers details for negotiation talks and fully administers approved contracts. Coordinates entire quotation process including review of Request for Proposals (RFQs) check of estimate, compilation of quote letter, and follow-up. Coordinates all communications and actions between company and customer for existing orders. Maintains full data files. Reviews/distributes drawings and design changes. Directs/participates in project meetings. Coordinates all data exchanges. Advises customer of status. Distributes customer correspondence to key personnel. Coordinates/formulates responses to customers' queries. Works with marketing to secure new purchase orders and develop forecasts of shipments/available business. Reviews customer purchase orders for acceptability (terms & conditions, pricing, delivery, specifications, government regulations and legal requirements) and prepares sales order and related directives. Maintains data packet on specific competitors.
