The Coding Educator - is responsible for developing and managing all services relating to coding education and ICD-10 preparedness for CHS hospitals throughout the enterprise.
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors Degree in Education or HIM required
Five years Coding, HIM leadership experience at a multifacility organization
Comprehensive level of Coding Knowledge Required
Coding training/education background Preferred
Demonstrated experience creating an education strategy and delivering large scale education programs
Excellent written, oral communication skills and project management skills
Certification/Licensure: Current RHIA or RHIT in addition to CCS or CPC
