JOB DESCRIPTIONJob Description:
Start Date: 8/15/2016 Detailed Responsibilities Include:Provide data from and working with U.S. Air Force Systems or record for index and distribution of Technical Data, and Reliability and Maintainability Information System (REMIS)/Integrated Maintenance and Data System (IMDS).Create, extract, and expand identification information from documents to facilitate proper filing by technical, programmatic, and process criteria document preparation, document change requests, data release requests, data storage systems, and document control practices.Analyze and recommend changes in policy and application of existing data management processes.Provide compliance documentation and scheduling requirements of Technical Orders (TOs)/Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs), and Time Change Items (TCIs) in accordance with Air Force systems of record.Interface with members on Multifunctional Team (MFT) and lead command and operating location POCs coordinating TCTO/TCI compliance/scheduling.Participate in working group meetings, briefings, conferences, and recommend methodologies for data management support of projects IAW organizational/program process guidelines.Assist the IPT with technical knowledge and the ability to review, analyze, and evaluate deficiency reports, TO 00-25-107 requests, AFTO form 22, TCTOs, technical manuals, illustrated parts breakdown (IPB), drawings, operating instructions, for systems and/or support equipment.Recommend equipment modifications, and conduct and assess trial installation of modified equipment.Provide assistance in equipment utilization including design and operations, capabilities and limitations, operating instructions, and disposition.Apply a working knowledge of supply and logistics system operations, capabilities, and limitations related to assigned equipment.Manage support equipment utilizing Air Force Equipment Management System (AFEMS) or equivalent system following established processes (if applicable to IPT).Follow established processes to document, update and manage all applicable TCTOs and TCIs in REMIS as applicable per AFCSM 25-524 and request Standard Reporting Designator (SRD) codes, for newly assigned equipment/Create and maintain Work Unit Code (WUC) table for all assigned equipment and maintain the SRD codes for newly assigned equipment.Brief top U.S. government leadership. Required Education/Training/Experience:5+ years of experience in related technical field in a DoD environment performing related tasks.Knowledge of policies and practices including 00-20 series TOs, AFI 11-401, AFI 16-402, AFI 21-103, and DFAS 7900 .4-M.
