Client is seeking an experienced Director Level Executive to join their office in Savannah, GA. This position will have direct exposure to C-level executives within the company with a direct reporting relationship to our President. This person will be responsible for the product strategy which includes developing, managing and monitoring the risk policies and procedures for the company's lending activities for the various brands of the Client. Additional responsibilities include developing and maintaining the company's scoring models, reviewing and reporting on the risk of the consumer loanportfolio, establishing policies and procedures to minimize consumer credit risk and recommending changes to senior management that balances charge-offs and profitability.



Develop, test and implement models and scorecards to effectively gauge and assess potential risk of the company's customers and optimize the performance of the portfolios.

Provide regular forecasts, reports, analysis and recommendations to executives and management on the expected and actual performance of the consumer loanportfolios

Review monthly portfolio performance and distribution by product, brand, internal scoring and other criteria to evaluate the effectiveness of the company's strategies to maximize profitability and effectively manage risk.

Long-term strategic development of a Risk Management department that will establish the company's scoring practices and monitor the credit risk for all brands.



Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Finance, or a related field

Graduate degree in a similar field strongly preferred

8 to 10 years' experience with progressively greater responsibilities in a consumer (asset based) lending/credit risk environment

The candidate should have experience and understanding of asset based lending, documentation and internal controls related to consumer lending services, products, policies and procedures, along with experience in problem solving and working with data

Knowledge of credit bureau, customer application, demographic data and alternative data

Knowledge of data analysis and statistical software packages and tools

Ability to prove concepts and rationale of decisions through judgmental, logical and factual evidence

Experience in developing and validatinginternal risk rating methodologies and predictive models

Frequent travel to Dallas office

Standing, walking, sitting, repetitive, movements, and use of mechanical controls, such as keyboard, are frequently required
