JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY Responsibilities:This senior level role is responsible for directing three key areas of Merchandising Operations critical to the business:
1) PRICE MGMT:
Directs a team of a Manager, Sr. Specialists and Analysts that are responsible for the execution and accuracy of all pricing across all channels.
2) VEHICLE PROMOTIONS MGMT:
The Sr. Director will provide oversight to a team of Promotions Directors and Sr. Analysts who are responsible for managing the end to end process for all promotional vehicles.
3) MASTER DATA:
The Sr. Director will also have oversight responsibility for timely and accurate set up and maintenance of new items, stores, vendors and the maintenance of item and location hierarchies including item/location attributes.
The Sr. Director of Promotions Management must be adept at problem solving with superior leadership and communication skills. The Sr. Director must be able to demonstrate the above skills cross functionally and at the officer level - working closely with Vice Presidents, Senior Vice Presidents and Executive Vice Presidents and providing critical information to the Executive Committee. The person in this role must be able to provide oversight to multiple concurrent initiatives being lead by their teams.
Position will have 3 to 5 direct reports. Qualifications:More than ten years experience and or training in Merchandising, Pricing, Marketing
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, Experience with LEAN, Six Sigma or related process methodologies a plus
Ability to oversee large scale, cross functional and high dollar project management. Ability to manage a team managing complex projects to completion. Superior communication, verbal, written presentation skills. Successfully manages and navigates across organizational boundaries. Successful in managing diverse skill sets. Ability to take a business issue/opportunity and develop appropriate, creative approaches.
