When we deliver a life-changing medicine, that success comes from the combined efforts of all of our people. br br This role is specifically for Cleveland Clinic: br br Leadership position responsible for achieving sales forecasts by maximizing opportunities based on pay or access, and meeting financial targets for a defined geographical area. br br Accountabilities: br br * Orchestrating overall strategy to the customer, delivering innovative programs and solutions in coordination with necessary AZ stakeholders (e.g. brand teams, medical affairs, sales, MM, etc.) that brings value to both AZ and customers br * Communicate any major strategic objectives or changes of the customer to the regional AZ stakeholders (MGBD and Sales EBDs) who may be impacted br * Develop and maintain strong working business partnerships with C-Suite and influential leaders in senior management at the customer including parent organizations (e.g., health systems, where applicable), with a goal of understanding unique business needs, model, and strategic challenges br * Develop account plan with input from key functions (e.g. medical, brand teams, customer marketing) br * Lead, negotiate and implement ideas to support brand and above brand strategies br * Manage operational and opportunity budgets, rigorously track performance and budgetary spending for the customer br * Ensure that performance metrics are rigorous and appropriate for the customer strategy and that it is continuously reported across the organization br * Oversee solution/service contracting process to ensure contract terms clearly delineate accountability, decision rights, investment, resources between AZ and customer as needed br * Make trade-off decisions on resource allocation including sales force which reports to the SAL, and communicate sales force need to the regional sales lead (e.g. EBD, CBD, DSM)
