POSITION INFORMATION

Under the direction of the Director of Equal Employment & Affirmative Action, this position is responsible for the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of equal employment programs and affirmative action compliance.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Demonstrates advanced judgment and technical experience in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions and developing recommendations.
In-depth knowledge of applicable state and federal laws as they pertain to employment and EEO requirements.
Demonstrates advanced knowledge of equal employment opportunity and affirmative action programs and applies it to the completion of diverse equal employment opportunity assignments.
Possesses advanced level skills required to gather, organize and perform analysis on diverse equal employment opportunity/affirmative action programs and initiatives as well as those to present findings and make recommendations that are significant to a department or unit, verbally and in writing.
Demonstrates advanced level of political and organizational acumen.
Experience researching, interpreting and analyzing policy and procedural data to produce recommendations that inform executive-level decision making.
General knowledge of the principles and practices of a wide range of human resources functions, including recruitment, employment, classification, compensation, and labor relations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Has in-depth knowledge of organizational policies and procedures; knowledge of functional area and understands how work may impact other areas.
