The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success managing export compliance in an Aerospace and Defense environment and have extensive knowledge of the International in Arms Regulations as well as the Export Administration Regulations, and excellent communication skills. The Export Compliance Manager will proactively handle export compliance matters as assigned by the Director of Import/Export. Will interact with employees at all levels and will work both independently and with other members of the Legal, Contracts and Compliance Department staff on a variety of interesting international trade compliance matters. This role requires successful management of a broad range of responsibilities in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.


Provide leadership and direction in export control compliance Mentor individual
Operating Unit (OU) Export Compliance personnel in resolving regulatory
and classification interpretations; act as buffer between OU?s and Washington
Office Review proposed and final regulatory amendments; provide comments
to Corporate Office for inclusion in response to request for comments;
provide guidance to site leads on changes Chair and plan agendas for quarterly
Export Working Group meetings Act as an Empowered Official for the company
and each OU; prepare updated appointments of Empowered Officials and coordinate
with Corporate Office in updating DDTC information Build and foster a continuing
program of training, education, and cooperation throughout company locations
with regards to export control compliance Focal point for alleged violations;
assist in investigation and preparation of any required voluntary disclosures;
coordinate review of same by the Company and Corporate Offices Structure
Export Compliance functions at new OUs Responsible for developing and
integrating licensing strategies to maximize outcomes and obtain necessary
export authorizations to ensure full compliance with all regulatory agencies Prepare
and revise Export Compliance Policies & Procedures and implementing forms Participate
in Company Audit Service Audits and monitoring of corrective actions Support
M&A Activities Maintain Export Compliance SharePoint site and content on
ERIC Provide comprehensive strategic
