* Description
* The
* Sr\. FCC Engineer
* provides advance technical support to Fluidized Catalytic Cracking operations in Refining organization\. Identify, develop, justify and champion the implementation of improvement opportunities; benchmark processes and procedures; develop and drive implementation of best\-practices, improve process\-safety and assure regulatory compliance\.*
* Responsibilities may include
* :
+ Implementing yield improvement initiatives + Identifying opportunities to improve operation, safety, reliability and economics by evaluating units, leading reviews, monthly teleconferences, annual face\-to\-face conferences and facilitating knowledge sharing + Participating in or lead configuration studies, improvement programs and projects + Benchmarking technologies, track performance metrics, implement unit monitoring programs and improvement initiatives + Defining good operation, developing and implementing Best Practices + Leveraging network expertise and knowledge + Supporting unit engineers with catalyst selection + Providing site support for FCC turnaround inspections and startups + Providing training to engineers and operators + Staying current with technology improvements in catalyst, equipment, operating procedures, industry practices, controls, process safety and environmental regulations + Consulting with refineries, vendors and R&D on operating issues, improvement projects and new technologies + Maintaining and enhancing the FCC Knowledge Sharing web site + Being a core member and alternate lead for FCC Best Practice Network*

* :
+ Legally authorized to work in the job posting country + Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering + 5 or more years of oil industry experience + Travel 10% to 25% of the time + Occasional weekend work for turnaround or special situation assistance + 3 or more years of FCC \(Fluidized Catalytic Cracking \)process experience ?*

+ 3 or more years of FCC operating plant experience + Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemical Engineering + Good leadership and influence skills including ability to identify performance gaps, drive improvements, prioritize work and implement change + Good oral and written communication skills including organization, presentation and documentation + Strong customer and business focus + Work well with a team and individually + High level of personal motivation and initiative*
