We currently have an opportunity in our Global InformationTechnology Group for a Sr. Financial Analayst/Anayst Business Advisory in our Chicago Loop location.
POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for providing accounting-related analysis on the activities of the information technology sector. Responsibilities of the role include accurately processing all monthly journal entries for accruals, construction-in-progress reclassifications, and ad hoc adjustments. Responsibilities also include producing monthly budget and forecast reports, variance analysis and invoice processing.
This position supports the Global Information Technology group. The candidate will prepare monthly accruals and other journal entries; report monthly, quarterly, and annual IT spend performance against forecast and plan; participate in annual budget process; participate in monthly forecasting process; participate in complex global financial analysis projects

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Manage monthly accruals and other journal entries; * Reporting of monthly, quarterly, and annual IT spend performance against forecast and plan; * Manage consolidation of annual IT budget process; * Responsible for monthly forecasting process* Preparing complex global or regional financial analysis projectsEDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
* Finance or Accounting Degree required , CPA a plus
* MBA or equivalent level of work experience a plus
* Must have managed monthly close activities & consolidation of monthly financial results
* An acceptable level of technical proficiency in area of focus to understand the interdependencies between business and technical environments
* Strong analytical skills; strong attention to detail
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* The candidate must be motivated, and demonstrate ownership of assigned responsibilities.
* Knowledge of IT Systems, Services, and Processes
