Responsibilities:

Senior Financial Management Analyst responsible for planning, organizing and managing a project, or series of smaller projects or a definable piece of a larger program for successful completion and performance consistent with contractual agreements. Performs, directs and supervises financial inspections, analysis and evaluation, of DHS and DoD Federal Financial for compliance with; Treasury standards, CFO Act, Federal Financial Manager's Financial Integrity Act (FFMIA), Sarbanes Oxley and the DHS Financial Accountability Act. Responsible for performing review and certifications of 6 digit Posting Code Logic to Treasury standards. Prepares audit and evaluation reports, and recommends innovative and creative ways to improve the agency's programs and operations. Works closely with the technical director and manages the technical accounting direction of a project through the design, implementation, and testing in accordance with project objectives. Interfaces with functional and technical personnel and clients and provides financial management and accounting subject matter expertise as required. Develops and presents white papers, briefings and technical proposals. Also responsible for acquiring follow-on business associated with assigned projects and for supporting new business development by leading or assisting with proposals. Trains and directs employee work activities. Signs timecards, prepares performance reviews, handles discipline problems, and has input to hiring and firing.

Requirements:

Requires Bachelor's degree, Certified Public Accountant Certificate (CPA), with Federal Government Auditing experience. Prior project management experience required. Project Manager Senior requires bachelor's degree or equivalent, and at least 10 years of experience. Project Manager requires bachelor?s degree or equivalent, and ten to twelve years of related (technical environment) experience.

Ability to obtain DoD Secret level clearance
