Sr. Hyperion Essbase Systems Analyst

Large Retail Corporation located SR. HYPERION ESSBASE SYSTEMS ANALYST
FINANCIAL PLANNING and REPORTING SYSTEMSHyperion and Essbase

7-10 years of relevant experience in Finance and Accounting systems
5 plus years of IT-Financial Planning responsibilities
5 plus years of experience working with Hyperion solutions
Extensive experience in global consumer goods settings
Global, CPG experience highly preferred

Responsibilities:

Operates in a consultative fashion, working with the Finance and IT teams to leverage andlsquo;best practices' into Financial Planning business operations, globally
Establishes and maintains Hyperion technical core competencies
Works seamlessly with the BI team to maintain core competencies in Essbase reporting and analysis
Provides Business Process Improvement services, working with Finance to apply continuous improvement disciplines
Ensures the seamless integration of Global Financial Planning and Management Reporting systems within the overall systems and process architecture
Manages 3rd party service provisions, including governance, change and problem management, budget management, and quality management
Provides full Project Life Cycle Management services, including Opportunity Identification, Business Case Development, Requirements Definition, Systems Analysis, System Design, Build, Test, Implement and Quality Assurance
Supports the relevant standards and methodologies
Maintain core competencies in Hyperion and Essbase technologies
Enforcement of standards and policies

Qualifications:Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Business, or related fields. Experience and/or other training will be considered in lieu of a degree. An advanced degree is a plus
7-10 years of relevant experience in Finance and Accounting systems
5 plus years of IT-Financial Planning responsibilities
5 plus years of experience working with Hyperion solutions
Extensive experience in global consumer goods settings

Solid understanding of Finance and Accounting business processes
Proven ability to work with, interact, and influence senior business managers and other business executives
Finance Best Practices knowledge
Management of software supplier relationships
Global, CPG experience highly preferred
Excellent communications (written and oral), change management, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Ability to operate in a matrixed, global environment
Excellent organization and time management, vendor management, and project management skills
Solid quantitative/analytical skills and good business judgment
A high sense of urgency and respect for deadlines
