Sr Java Engineer

We are looking for a sharp Sr Java Engineer who would like to join a small dynamic team building the best shopping search experience on the web! We are looking for a full-time Java Engineer. You will play a key role in designing and launching features to serve an audience of millions of consumers on the web and mobile devices. You`ll be part of a dynamic engineering team working for one of the web`s fastest growing social media properties.
Responsibilities:` Build and enhance Java-based web applications, from the front end to the business and data layers ` Design systems that scale to millions of users ` Contribute to product definition with groups across the company
Requirements:` BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent ` At least 3 years Java programming experience creating commercial web sites - Ideally we would like someone who is a guru with the full stack, but we would also look at a strong back end Java engineer,` Experience with html, css, javascript and ajax development a plus.` Keen initiative and sense of ownership in your work
Ideally you have experience with one or more of:` Hibernate or other ORM frameworks ` MySQL and relational databases ` Lucene or other search frameworks ` iPhone native or mobile web development
