Job Description

The Senior Programmer/Analyst is responsible for the design, development, and unit test of custom applications as well as assisting in the selection, implementation, and integration of purchased applications that provide automated solutions for the Firm's Business teams, lines of business and senior management. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to: Executing necessary design and programming to integrate applications and systems, existing and new, as well as business process management software; developing and documenting data, process, and object models that support the business and application requirements; transforming all requirements into an application platform solution; developing and testing applications and related components such that they meet the design specifications; and developing production implementation procedures and work with other IT groups to migrate applications to the production environment.

Builds and codes applications and/or modules using languages such as C# .NET, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, JAVA, XTML, AJAX, XML, XSL, XSLT, CSS, JavaScript, HTML, PL/SQL, T-SQL and Web Services etc. Provides patches and upgrades to existing systems. May design graphical user interface (GUI) to meet the specific needs of users. Prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. May build add-on modules using application program language.

Required Education:
14+ Years with HS or 10+ Years with AA or 8+ Years with BS or 6+ Years with MS or 3+ Years with PhDRequired Experience:

* Versatility in handling multiple projects and re-prioritizations * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences * Motivated individual with proven track record of on-time delivery * Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills * Strong team collaboration skills * A track record of learning and professional development * 6+ years of increasing responsibilities in software development. * Minimum of 3 years of developing in the .Net development environment. * Minimum of 2 years of developing web-based applications. * Experience in software design, coding, unit testing, integration, documentation, and build management following a structured development methodology * Strong knowledge of C# .NET, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, .Net Framework, and Visual Studio 2008/2005. * Working knowledge of Web Services, .Net Framework and Application, Windows Workflow Foundation, Security Vulnerabilities. * Experience with AJAX, XML, XSL, XSLT, CSS, JavaScript, HTML and Web Services * Understanding and working knowledge of basic Internet protocols such as HTTP, SMTP, SOAP, POP, SSL * Experience with relational database development using MS SQL server, stored procedures and competencies in data modeling and database designPreferred Skills:
* Direct integration experience with CostPoint * Development of /creation of triggers/views/database links/DMBS jobs using various tools * Development/configuration in Costpoint Integration Console * Web Services, Web, and N-Tier architecture experience. * Microsoft certifications
