Job Description
Primary Job Responsibilities:
At PayPal, we're laser focused on creating better ways for consumers and merchants to pay and get paid. Putting customers' needs first, coupled with a 'challenger' mindset, we're redefining the payments category through product, marketing, and service delivery innovation. PayPal is not for everyone. To re-invent a category, we need creative, courageous individuals who challenge conventional wisdom and are fired up about new and better ways to deliver for the customer.
We're seeking a seasoned Sr Brand Mgr to partner with internal colleagues to imbue our brand into product experiences, which should ultimately result in enhanced customer engagement and loyalty. With over 100 million total active consumer accounts, this role offers an extraordinary opportunity to have a dramatic impact on increasing the value of this large and fast-growing customer network. Specific job responsibilities include:
Brand Identity Maintenance and Evolution - Sr. Manager is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the PayPal global brand, which includes a high level of global interaction with many functions within the company. The person in this role is also responsible for all ongoing brand identity evolution activities, which includes brand agency management, program management, and senior executive presentation support.
Brand Portfolio Management - as PayPal's focus expands to new lines of business, there is a need for the development of fully articulated sub-brands. In this role, the right candidate will lead major sub-brand creation activities, drive the creation of supporting assets and guidelines, and educate key stakeholders on proper use.
Brand Migration - As PayPal acquires new brands, Sr. Manager will be responsible setting and driving the brand migration strategy. This will include the development of a brand migration 'playbook', managing migration-related research activities, supporting migration activities with appropriate brand assets, and keeping senior management informed of progress.
Brand Training - In this role, Sr. Manager will be responsible for creating and maintaining the global brand training agenda and integrating brand training into as many internal touchpoints as possible. This role is also responsible for delivering brand training to a wide number of audiences globally - either live or via phone/teleconference - including various internal functions (marketing, product, technology, etc.) as well as new, strategic agency partners.
General Brand Support - Sr. Manager will work with a wide variety of internal stakeholders across the global product, marketing and operations organizations to manage brand-related requests, develop new tools and templates for global use, and provide general, day-to-day brand support.
If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you. Know that at PayPal you'll get excellent support, have the authority to get things done, and be rewarded for your results. You'll be at a place where your ideas spark action, and where you are empowered to drive your ideas into reality.
