As Sr Manager, IT Governance & PMO, you will bring your talent, passion, energy, focus and all-in approach to the North America IT team. This leadership role is responsible for driving excellence in IT Service Management, Vendor Management, and the Project Management Office for the NAM region.



RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead existing team in transforming Governance and the PMO for the region.

Provide expertise in governance and project management for all IT in the region, designing and implementing best practices, guidelines and repeatable processes

Liaison with the global teams responsible for vendor, service, and project management to ensure alignment with standards and strategic direction

Liaison with strategic partners to ensure delivery on contracted services, holding them accountable and facilitating improvements

Oversee Change Control Board, Critical Incident Management and Root Cause Analysis processes and drive improvements

Define Customer Satisfaction outcomes based on annual surveys, ticket resolution surveys, and escalations, working with Service Desk vendor to define KPIs.

Lead IT Open House days at strategic office locations

Coordinate internal and business facing communications for the IT department in the region

Define, lead and staff PMO activities around demand management, portfolio, resource, risk, and quality management and tools

Point of contact for coordinating internal and external audits

Provide training on PMO, governance and other associated tools and processes to the IT staff in the region

Report metrics on defined KPIs to regional and global teams

The right candidate will have the following capabilities and experience:



10-12 years of experience building and running PMOs, and IT Governance organizations

Demonstrated expertise in

o IT project and program management

o IT project demand and portfolio management

o IT vendor management

o IT service Management

Experience working in a matrix environment for a large global organization

Must be able to perform duties with moderate to low supervision

Excellent interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills are required to support working in project environments that includes internal, external and customer teams

Requires strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities

Ability to manage multiple priorities, and assess and adjust quickly to changing priorities

Requires leadership qualities to mentor other team members.

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

A Bachelor degree in Computer Science, IT Management, technology or equivalent, Masters degree preferred

PMP Certification preferred

ITIL Certification preferred
