In search of a passionate, dynamic, collaborative, and cutting edge Learning and Development Leader that will take learning to the next level for the company! The ideal candidate will effectively transform and modernize the current L&D function to deliver world class learning solutions for all levels of the organization.

This position will support the company's business strategy and is pivotal in the development of learning solutions that improve the organization's talent. The role develops, coordinates, documents and conducts internal training programs through a variety of delivery methods. In addition, this role will utilize an enterprise-wide, collaborative, consultative approach with CPPM Corporate & Business Area Process Owners, SME's and business area leaders to develop and deliver successful learning experiences while adhering to the 80/20 model, creating more simplified, robust, and impactful learning along with custom solutions for targeted business area execution and implementation of training.

From the needs assessments and analysis, the Learning and Development Leader will put together multifaceted interventions that may include organizational development, leadership development, change management, and/or learning solutions that are unique to the particular needs of the business area. This position will work closely with key business area management to partner and agree on respective roles, responsibilities, and expected results to include content developed by process owners and whenever possible, off the shelf engaging materials.

This position monitors the overall impact of the learning solutions and other intervention programs and modifies them as necessary to ensure that all identified needs are being met. Development programs will consist of training sessions both onsite and offsite that consist of instructor-led and other delivery methods employing a variety of blended and cutting edge learning solutions. These dynamic approaches may include implementation of blended techniques such as simulation and scenario based learning, team collaborative projects, interactive and immersive learning, self-directed on demand study courses (elearning, webcasts, podcasts, video, etc.), change management, career development, performance management, and individual development planning. This position is also responsible for support of HR training programs.


* Responsible for leading a team in the design and development of instructionally sound,
* creative and high quality learning and custom solutions for targeted BA execution with high impact results
* Conduct thorough needs and gap analyses in skills, audience and organization to recommend optimal learning interventions and solutions
* Develop a collaborative, consultative approach with CPPM Corporate & Business Area Process Owners, SMES & BA Leaders to develop and deliver successful learning experiences while adhering to the 80/20 model
* Develop and maintain master project tracking and status
* Develop and implement detailed role and responsibility matrices to ensure team members and other key stakeholders understand their alignment and overall involvement throughout the learning solution design, development, and implementation process
* Develop and implement best in practice, streamlined, and rapid course design and development processes, including repositories and reusable learning objects
* Assess skills and abilities of team, recommend necessary training, professional development, OJT, and other methods to ensure the team is enabled for optimum success
* Develop and track key learning metrics to assess impact of solutions
* Research and recommend cutting edge technologies/tools to enhance design and development practices
* Support the development of the annual Learning and Development strategic plan
* Manage vendor and consultant relationships as needed
* Develop Annual Master Training Schedule and oversee the development of monthly class schedules
* Develop lesson plans and conduct training sessions as required for compliance, HR, procedural and soft-skills topics, using appropriate delivery methods
* Partner with stakeholders and subject matter experts and agree on respective roles, responsibilities, and expected results to include content developed by process owners and whenever possible off the shelf materials that are engaging and impactful
* Assist internal subject matter experts with the development, delivery, coordination and recording of their training sessions
* Oversee the scheduling and coordination of training programs both in-house and off-site
* Oversee the approval process, registration, payment and documentation of attendance at outside seminars or classes
* Responsible for management of the Learning Management System and oversight of training records management (electronic training materials and electronic training files for all employees), including up-to-date training courses, training materials and complete and accurate electronic training files for all employees
* Responsible for execution of VP/Director Onboarding and annual Executive Leadership Forum
* Partner with HR leaders to manage and oversee the New Employee Orientation, ensuring all new employees have received initial training. Oversee updates to materials, presentation of orientation modules and ensure completion of them via electronic delivery methods. Instruct on the use of intranet features and applications
* Participate in ISO and CMMI audits of training records
* Provide leadership and performance management to Training Coordinator
* Assist with HR projects as required, such as company newsletters, company-sponsored fitness events, and company functions
* Assist with coordination of training and provide training for off-site offices
* Conduct regular visits to Satellite offices for Training Program Support and compliance audits
* Other duties as assigned


* Minimum of 10 years learning and development leadership
* Minimum of 8 years program/project management experience
* Ability to inspire, motivate, and grow a dynamic, high performing L&D team
* Significant instructional design experience to deliver world class learning solutions
* Demonstrated experience in process improvement, transformation, and change management
* Experience with learning technologies and systems
* Experience working with third parties, including consultants and vendors
* Experience in budget management
* Demonstrated experience in curriculum and course design
* Superior business/technical writing and editing skills
* Demonstrated experience as a project manager using proven methodologies
* Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills
* Significant experience working with and presenting to all levels of an organization
* Demonstrated ability influencing and supporting senior leadership
