Job DescriptionAECOM has an immediate opening for an Environmental Sector Vice President/Principal in its Denver office. The ideal candidate will be a recognized leader in winning and delivering environmental services to a variety of clients, building long-term partnerships with clients and colleagues, and developing the talents and capabilities of staff located in multiple offices. The candidate???s experience and capabilities will demonstrate:?? A diverse skill set and the willingness to work hands-on in a wide variety of environmental planning and permitting projects for clients in the utilities, oil and gas and renewable energy sectors. ?? The skills and capabilities to lead large, highly visible, complex projects. While this position is primarily focused on top-line growth and client development, it will also require a hands-on approach to key projects.?? Exceptional competence and achievement over a sustained period as an environmental professional and technical excellence in a specialty area that is critical to the success of the broader AECOM enterprise. ?? A clear track record of success in business development and establishing and nurturing long-term client relationships. The candidate will develop new business opportunities as well as build upon existing relationships to generate additional sales. ?? The ability to attract, retain and develop a team of skilled professionals. Principals supervise the work of others, conduct performance evaluations for senior staff, and proactively develop leadership in his/her sphere of influence.Additionally, they will possess superior leadership and initiative both in the office and in the broader AECOM regional and practice line network. The successful candidate should be prepared to assume leadership of office and practice initiatives while collaborating with colleagues across geographic and disciplinary boundaries. Requirements?? 15+ years of relevant experience, demonstrated expertise working with NEPA and managing other regulatory processes such as those associated with the Endangered Species Act, National Historic Preservation Act, etc. over an extended period of time. ?? A degree in natural resources or a related field is preferred.
