JOB DESCRIPTIONCollaborate with sales, account managers, customers and the engineering staff to develop winning material handling system solutions at a cost-effective level.
*** Analyze customer requirements to determine feasibility and risk factors.
*** Prepare written proposal document with an focus on developing clearly understandable technical and visual content.
*** Team with customers and internal members to formulate solutions and cost estimates.
*** Make formal presentations to customers in conjunction with the sales department.
*** Procure bids from suppliers through preparation of equipment specs and functional requirements.
*** Promote internal, cross-functional proposal review meetings.
*** Proficiency in automated conveying, sorting and handling systems or similar.
*** Experience developing proposals that thoroughly meet customer requirements.
*** History of successfully interfacing with account managers in a sales support role, including customer interactions.
