Sr .NET Developer with SharePoint experience

Sr .NET Developer with SharePoint Development experience, contract to hire!!!!! Located in Santa Ana

Goal of position is for the successful candidate to develop & support web as well as desktop applications using Microsoft .NET technology and SQL Server as well as-

10+ years of experience overall software development with at least 3 years of experience with Sharepoint.....This is a hard and fast requirement as well as solid Client Server and/or N-tier development environment.

Excellent C# programming skills and knowledge of object oriented programming and design

Qualifications:

BS or higher degree in MIS, CS, or related degree
Proficient in developing web applications using Sharepoint, ASP.NET, Java Scripts, Ajax as well as Web Services
Proficient in developing desktop applications for Windows using Microsoft .NET
Database experience using Microsoft SQL Server 2005 including table design, stored procedure, and trigger development
Strong debugging skills and excellent problem solving skills
Good communication and discovery skills, the ability to work both independently and within a team and with clients
Responsible for the following-
Formulate/define system scope and objectives
Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results
Prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written
Design, code, test, debug and document those programs
Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of application development
Responsible for completion of a phase of a project

Please note- Company will not sponsor H1B candidates, they prefer local candidates to the OC area and need someone who willing AND able to do both winform and webform development/maintenance based on the business needs.

Manager prefers candidates with solid employment history stability is critical to this role.

The manager is also not interested in candidates who have lots of short term positions(either as a contractor or employee) rather, likes to see stable job history - long durations at not so many employers.
