RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Provides clinical and consultative support to Physical Therapists (PTs) and Interdisciplinary Care Team Managers regarding complex rehab related clinical and/or customer service issues. Provides mentoring and leadership to less experienced PTs. Also provides physical therapy services to VNSNY home care patients. Develops and implements a plan of care consistent with the Agency&rsquot;s goals and Rehabilitation department policies and procedures. Works under general supervision.
Licensure: New York State License and current registration in Physical Therapy required. Valid driver's license may be required, as determined by operational/regional needs.
Education: Bachelor&rsquot;s Degree in Physical Therapy from a program approved by the New York State Department of Education required. Clinical Certification preferred.
Experience: Minimum of five years physical therapy experience required. Demonstrated ability to lead and guide less experienced therapists. Bilingual skills may be required, as determined by operational needs.
