Leading Cisco Gold partner is seeking a Sr. Solution Architect in the NYC metro area. Expertise in Core Cisco technologies with R/S, Security, and Wireless solutions.

*Please note, this role does not support Visas

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

Meet with Commercial customers, collecting requirements for infrastructure solutions relating to networking

Present and explain technologies to customers, guide them through requirements gathering and formulate a solution consisting of hardware, software, licensing, and engineering services

Develop engineering solutions for sale to customers.

Work with Account Manager/Sales Team to develop customer relationships and solutions to assist in the sales process

Create high level solutions designs/architecture and present to customers

Creative Customer facing Presentations

Create Bill of Materials & Configurations for solutions

Build Scope of Services and Professional Service Pricing

Write Statements of Works

Create scope of work and task lists for various types of projects in support of these solutions.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Demonstrated passion for technology, solution design, and self-study

Comfort with leading group presentations, solution demonstrations, and whiteboard sessions

7 + years of experience as a Solutions Architect with focus on one or more of these Cisco architectures: Borderless Networks, Datacenter networking, Wireless, and Security, Collaboration

Strong Pre Sales / Cisco Solutions Design expertise

Strong sales acumen and technical expertise

Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study

Familiarity with Netformx, Cisco Commerce Workspace (CCW)

7+ years of broad ITexperience with servers, networks,

Strong knowledge of Cisco architectures to include: Borderless Networks, Datacenter networking, Wireless and Security.

Experience with Microsoft Office products including Visio

Solid verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail

Preferred certifications CCNP/CCDP/CCIE.

Experience in a Value Added Reseller (VAR) environment also preferred
