CM Manager shall provide overall software and hardware configuration policy and implementation and daily activities for development, integration, testing, and fielded systems. Interface with the following groups: software development, testing, integration, deployment, and sustainment. Analyzes proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system. Coordinates modification records for management control. Establishes change orders and prepares for change authorization. Prepares reports of change effect on overall product. Reviews and analyzes released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities. Ensures that customer requirements are implemented and reviews change accounting activity to ensure compliance with configuration management policies. In order to maintain configuration control over the entire system, the CM Manager shall provide CM support to the Configuration Control Boards (CCB) and Engineering Review Boards (ERB). The CM Manager shall maintain the system configurations and make all system interfaces available on-line. The CM Manager shall lead a process to ensure all recommended changes to the system are handled and documented appropriately. The CM Manager shall communicate directly with Government customer and teammates. The CM Manager shall document CM processes for the program and write the CM Plan. The CM Manager shall conduct CM training for the CM point of contact at each teammate. The CM Manager shall be responsible for participating in Govt CM audits. The CM manager shall be responible for setting up distributed CM environments.

Requirements:
Required Education:
15+ Years with BS or 13+ Years with MS or 10+ Years with PhDRequired Experience:
Required Skills:
Eight (8) years relevant work, including configuration management experience serving in a similar capacity and in an environment with tasks of similar scope, complexity, and technical difficulty for a large DoD system.Preferred Skills:
Served as a CM Manager for a DoD development program using Agile processes.

Able to use these IBM/Rational tools: ClearCase for configuration management; and ClearQuest for problem tracking and resolution.
