JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting to the SR Director, this position is responsible for the product line globally, including: development and implementation of the commercialization strategy, global brand and product life cycle. He or she develops and implements the global commercialization plan in collaboration with internal business partners, external sales, and distribution. Critical to success, is working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to understand the global market and how to best position the portfolio for growth. The successful candidate will represent the commercial voice of the product line and will support the product portfolio in all phases to ensure delivery of meaningful profit contributions.

Responsibilities

* The position will report to the SR Director and will align and work with cross functional teams including medical, legal, regulatory and sales.

* Lead product portfolio teams to drive alignment and enhance product value proposition through:

* Development of strategic marketing plan and life cycle strategies
* Collaboration with portfolio team to identify ways to improve customer experience

* Develop pricing strategy for selected market segments
* Liaison with the research and technical teams to ensure studies are planned and data is generated to align/support product life cycle plans
* Work on development of divisional/corporate website to enhance customer experience and improve analytic capabilities.
* Contribute to business development discussions to determine new products synergy with existing portfolio & long range divisional plans.
* Provides assistance to sales team on requests as needed.
* Develop sales forecast for assigned products
* Identify market research gaps for products. Work with Marketing's market research team to support product sales and refine core strategies.
* Gather and interpret market/competitive intelligence to properly position products
* Manages product budget expenses against forecast
* Effectively implement and communicate the core brand messages, product positioning statements, and collateral materials
* Work in collaboration with other members of the marketing team to develop necessary promotional resources for the field.
* The position will report to the SR Director and will align and work with cross functional teams including medical, legal, regulatory and sales.

* Work closely with cross functional colleagues in sales, marketing, regulatory, medical, and other departments to understand and meet the needs of our customers.
* Works with marketing team to manage approval process
* Interacts with and provides direction to other departments to achieve marketing objectives.

Education, Experience MBA required
* 10+ years of pharmaceutical Product Marketing experience
* Experience with Auto-Injectables highly preferred
* 25%Travel
* Strong organizational and operational skills, attention to detail and judgment
* Customer focused; market research experience strongly preferred
* Understanding of pharmaceutical and/or device marketing strategies and regulatory/compliance environment
* Demonstrated ability to effectively implement and communicate the core brand messages, product positioning statements, and develop collateral materials
* Ability to work in a rapidly changing, cross matrix environment
* Financial modeling capabilities to facilitate life cycle management/development project decisions
* Ability to build consensus across functions
* Strong interpersonal, oral and written skills and the ability to interact professionally
* International marketing, or sales experience
* Excellent people and communication skills
* Analytical and forward thinker, results oriented, self-organized and self-starter
